🎀 Develop my own sense of style and wear it regularly. I want to feel happy and confident, not constantly checking reflective surfaces trying to fix perceived problems.
How: Put together an outfit that makes me feel good at least twice a week, even if I don’t have plans. Tag #ootd
🍞 Establish healthy eating habits.
How: I’ll continue to check nutrition labels and look up ingredients I don’t recognize, and then make an informed decision of whether to eat something. I’ll also be sure to eat more in general. No more under eating! Tag #nommies
✏️ Improve drawing skills. I found an old sketchbook and kicked myself for getting lazy- I had actually been improving and then just stopped practicing for no good reason.
How: Complete one drawing a day, even if it’s just a doodle. Something is better than nothing! Tag #art
👊 Get on a regular, challenging workout schedule! I was doing really well at this at the beginning of the year, then I got a job and lost the motivation to do anything outside of work. Starting this month I cut my hours to have more time to devote to personal pursuits.
How: I will go to the gym (or work out at home) on my days off, and make the workouts count so I’ll actually make gains. Tag #fitness
♥️ Be kinder to myself.
How: I’ll be as gentle with myself as I am with others. No berating or nitpicking at my own expense. Tag #selflove
☀️ Spread positivity.
How: Compliment somebody at least once a day. Try not to focus only on physical attributes.
💡 Become informed about issues that matter to me. Sometimes I avoid reading things that might challenge what I believe and that’s a really bad habit. I want to be able to stand my ground and back it up during a mature debate.
How: Read everything you find, even if it seems like something I won’t agree with and even if it means I’ll be proven wrong. Tag #themoreyouknow
